I'm reposting the GROUP RULES again.
(the most wonderful and helpful contributors you could ever ask for
) pointed out that a reminder/rewrite of the Rules would help members with the submission process. Since some members keep having trouble with the submission rules, this is a good way to evacuate any doubts.
NO THEFT ALLOWED. The artwork will be deleted from the group and you'll be reported
Submit YOUR OWN ARTWORKS and not other people's. Cause this is FIGHTING LAZINESS, people... so what's the point in submitting someone else's hard work, right?
Members can submit two (2) deviation per week.
The folders are the following ones (some include an explanation):
FEATURED: We are quite strict with the submissions to the FEATURED folder, which doesn't mean that you may not feel free to try and submit your art there, but take into consideration that we're looking for QUALITY works and that the same member doesn't have his entire gallery submitted to this folder.
FL ART SCHOOL: For now this folder is CLOSED, since the former founder created it but the project was never developed. We'll see if in the future we'll try to continue with this idea.
F-L DAILY DEVIATIONS: Only those deviations which have been chosen as a daily deviation are allowed in this folder.
FANART: Works that include licensed characters, like from a game, movie, anime or other form of publication. Important: don't submit original characters here, even if they're not yours! To submit to this folder, the portrayed character must come from officially published release! That means no fandom as well.. This is important cause members tend to confuse this… a pic which is a Digital Art Fanart (eg: a Corel painted pic of Dr. Who) will be submitted to this folder and NOT to the digital art one.
TRADITIONAL ART: Any form of traditional art, as long as it doesn't include: your own OCs, fanart and fandom. That means: landscapes, abstract, portraits of living people/models but also commissions, art trades, requests, gifts.
MIXED MEDIA: Any form of mixed graphic media, as long as it doesn't include: your own OCs, fanart and fandom. That means: landscapes, abstract, portraits of living people/models but also commissions, art trades, requests, gifts.
DIGITAL ART: Any form of digital art, as long as it doesn't include: your own OCs, fanart and fandom. That means: landscapes, abstract, portraits of living people/models but also commissions, art trades, requests, gifts.
LITERATURE: only in Spanish, English, Polish and Finnish.
FANFICS: For stories about characters or settings written by fans of the original work, rather than by the original creator.
OCs: Artworks that portray your own original characters, like from your novel, comic series etc. The character must be yours - not someone else's, not fanart and not fandom. Important: to get the submission accepted, you have to write in the picture's description that this is your character - you don't have to write names and stories, just mention that it's your OCs, we can't know it otherwise.
FANDOM: Artworks that include your OCs or ideas put into the world of licensed series, like game, movie, anime etc. Examples: fictional OC from APH like Argentina, scene of alternative ending of anime series, pairing of your OC and character from Naruto, Pokemon gijinka etc.
COMICS AND MANGA YOURS: For pages, strips or covers of your manga/comic. Important: DO NOT submit artworks done in manga/anime style here.
MATURE CONTENT: This does NOT ONLY include highly sexual content but also violent scenes, disproportionate drawings (if you know what I mean
), saucy pics, etc.
LINEART & SKETCHES
ICONS AND STAMPS
I promise to submit the rules in Spanish as well (as soon as I have some time T___________T )
In case of any doubt always ALWAYS ask us (and if there’s anything you’d like us to include in these rules then let us know ^w^ ).
